Snuggle Buddies only

Everything on this site is a Snuggle Buddies product made by Addo Play. We do not mix in similar-looking plush from other makers, and we do not list items from resellers who have put their own name on the brand field. If a listing is not the brand, it is not here.

This matters more than it sounds. Search for a character name and you will find lookalikes at half the price and a third of the quality. Keeping the catalogue clean is most of the value of having one.

Every character, not just the good ones

All 41 plush toys in the current range are listed, including the ones we would not personally choose. Hiding the weaker items would make the catalogue less useful and the recommendations worth less — if we only ever show you things we like, our liking something stops meaning anything.

What we do instead is say so on the card. Where a toy is a colour variant of another, where a set is better value than the singles, where a size makes something impractical for travel — it is written down.

Prices and stock

Prices come straight from the live listing and are refreshed regularly, so the figure on a card is what the toy costs now rather than what it cost when we wrote the page. Stock moves, particularly on the newer Yummy Buddies and the two boxed sets around the holidays.

If a price here and a price at checkout ever disagree, the checkout is right. Tell us and we will correct the page.

Customer comments

Where a product page shows customer comments, they are reproduced word for word from verified purchasers in the United States. We choose which to show — we look for ones that mention size, texture or how a toy has held up, because those are the things a photograph cannot tell you — and we do not alter the wording.

Characters with no comments shown simply do not have any we could reproduce. We would rather show nothing than write something.

If you think a rule here is being applied badly on a particular page, that is exactly the sort of message we want.
