Privacy

We collect as little as a website can and still exist.

What we collect

No accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletter, no forms. There is nowhere on this site to type your name, so we do not have it.

Our host keeps standard server logs — the page requested, a timestamp, a truncated address, the browser string. They are used to tell whether the site is working and are not connected to anything that identifies you.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, because we have none to sell. We do not run advertising networks, cross-site trackers, pixels or fingerprinting scripts. We do not build profiles of visitors.

We do not email you. There is no mailing list to join, which is a deliberate decision and one we have never regretted.

When you follow a link out

Clicking a product button takes you to the partner store's site. From that moment their privacy policy applies, not ours, and what they collect is between you and them. Their policy is worth a read — it is a great deal longer than this one.

We do not pass them anything about you, because we have nothing to pass.

If you write to us

Email sent to nightlight@DOMAIN is kept in a normal mailbox for as long as the exchange is useful and then deleted. We do not add correspondents to any list.

Ask us to delete your message and we will, and tell you when it is done.

Questions about any of this go to the same address as everything else.
