About Us
We are three people who kept buying the same plush toys for other people's children.
Why this site exists
Between us we have bought Snuggle Buddies for nine children — nieces, nephews, godchildren, the daughter of a colleague who announced a pregnancy at exactly the wrong moment in a meeting. Every single time we hit the same wall. The listing tells you the character's name and that it is soft. It does not tell you whether a nine-inch bunny is bigger or smaller than a ten-inch fox, or whether the thing will stand up on a shelf.
So we bought the range, measured it, sat it on a shelf and wrote down what we found. That is the whole site. Forty-one plush toys, six shelves, real sizes in inches, real prices, and a note on every card about how the toy is weighted.
How we write the cards
Every card is written after handling the toy. Where we have a preference we say so plainly — Winston Whale for a baby, Dottie Dog for a child choosing for themselves, the croissant for an adult who would not admit to wanting a plush toy. Where two toys differ only in colour, like Bella and Bridget Bunny, we say that instead of inventing a distinction.
The character stories on each card come from the toy's own swing tag, not from us. Benji Bear really does collect acorns, according to Addo Play. We have kept them because children read them.
What we do not do
We do not stock anything, hold anything or ship anything. Orders are placed with the partner store that carries the range, and everything after you click — payment, delivery, returns, warranty — is handled there under their terms.
We also do not write reviews. The customer comments quoted on product pages are reproduced word for word from verified purchasers in the United States; we select which ones to show and we do not edit what they say.
